You are an author, but is it your day job? If not, what fills your days? Writing is one of the ways I fulfill my mission, but my days are spent coaching, mentoring, and helping leaders create cultures of belonging through emotional mastery. I also spend time riding dirt bikes, exploring trails, and challenging myself outdoors—it’s where I reconnect with my sense of freedom and adventure.
Did you always want to be an author? Not always! My journey started in physics and entrepreneurship. Writing became a calling when I realized I could share what I’d learned about emotional intelligence and transformation to inspire others.
What is your most recent book and what inspired you to write it? My upcoming book, The Third Element, reveals the missing link in the Law of Attraction: emotional mastery. It was inspired by my journey from logical thinking to cracking the code to abundance and joy by understanding and integrating emotions.
How do you hope your book uplifts those who read it? I want readers to walk away with hope—hope that their lives can improve dramatically by leaning into their emotions and embracing healing. I aim to give them practical tools to uncover clarity, purpose, and connection.
What are you most excited about with this book? I’m excited for people to experience the profound shifts that happen when they fully feel and process their emotions. This book has the potential to change how people view emotional resistance and its role in both personal and professional success and fulfillment.
How did writing a book help your career take off? Writing this book didn’t launch my career—I came out of retirement to share what I’ve learned and help others. After building and exiting multiple businesses, I realized the key to my success wasn’t just strategy and hard work—it was emotional mastery. The Third Element is my way of giving others the missing key to fulfillment, abundance, and true impact.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to succeed in your professional industry? Prioritize relationships—with yourself, your team, and your clients. The foundation of success is built on connection, emotional alignment, and authenticity. Mastering your emotions is essential.
How do you handle setbacks and criticism? I view setbacks as emotional teachers. They force me to pause, reflect, and heal so that I can move forward with clarity. Criticism? I embrace it as an opportunity to grow while remaining grounded in my authenticity.
Being an author today is like running a business. How do you manage all your publicity, social media, and engagement with readers? I am grateful to have a team to lean on to handle logistics while I remain present for the community, speaker appearances and sharing all that I can along the way.
How do you hold yourself accountable and achieve the goals you set forth? I set clear intentions and regularly reflect on my progress. Journaling is one of my go-to tools to stay emotionally aligned and recalibrate when necessary.
How do you structure your day and make time for writing? Mornings are sacred for my creative work. I start with meditation or journaling to clear my mind, then I write before the day’s responsibilities take over. And any time I feel inspired, I take a few minutes to capture the ideas flowing through in the moment.
What do you find most fulfilling in the career you’ve chosen? Seeing the ripple effect of emotional healing in people’s lives. When leaders and individuals embrace emotional mastery, it transforms not just them but their teams, families, and communities.
What book uplifts you? Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now deeply influenced my journey toward presence and emotional awareness.
Anything else you’d like to share with your readers? You are not your past. No matter where you are, life can shift in powerful ways when we connect with and embrace our emotions. Healing is within reach. Let’s walk this path together.
