The Gratitude Express: A story inspired by the Say It Now Movement

The Gratitude Express is an allegorical story inspired by the Say it Now movement developed by author Walter Green.

This novella is about a young man who boards a train to visit his grandfather. On his travels, he encounters people and reflections of his past. When he asked the conductor about it, the conductor explained that this is “The Gratitude Express.” By the time the train reaches his destination, he’s a changed man, excited to share with his grandfather everything he’s discovered about the power of appreciation and the importance of saying it now, before it’s too late.

This short story would appeal to readers of any age. It’s uplifting and inspires gratitude and introspection. The author and his collaborator, Joseph Quaderer, published the book to spread the message of their mission, the Say It Now movement. I think it’s a fantastic message – never wait to say the words that matter.

I recommend this book to anyone who needs a lift, to share it as a family, to give it as a gift with a gratitude-inspired message, or to spark a team meeting discussion about gratitude. I also envision using it in support groups, with a spiritual organization, or as a gentle reminder for those with aging parents that gratitude, courage, and kindness matter. If you are looking for a tool to help you remember the importance of gratitude and to express what matters to you in the moment, this book should work for you.
