This is a story about the various forms in which God may appear. As author Paul Harbridge and Illustrator Marta Dorado share in this lovely book, God—He/She/They—is the Creator of, and thread within, all natural beings.
This book has a fun, little cadence.
It tells how God created millions of species, each with a purpose, dreams, and desires. The reader will delight in the philosophical questions posed on each page and the colorful illustrations. The queries challenge the reader to imagine the logical creation path and appreciate the beauty of the symbiotic relationship found in our natural world.
This children’s picture book is perfect for a faith-based group read-aloud or a bedtime story. It is probably aimed at children ages one through six, but I imagine the reader—no matter their age—will take away some inspiration. The illustrations are beautiful and worth the investment alone.
