Butter Side Up: How I Survived My Most Terrible Year and Created My Super Awesome Life

Butter Side Up: How I Survived My Most Terrible Year and Created My Super Awesome Life

When life throws you one curveball after another, it can take a toll on even the strongest of individuals. Jane Enright experienced the advent of a catastrophic landslide when she survived a life-altering concussion only to have her husband hospitalized after a horrific accident and then lose his battle with pancreatic cancer.

I can’t imagine how Enright had the strength to come back from all that she’s faced and was able to share that journey in a book.

Abandoning her busy life as a corporate strategist, thought leader and entrepreneur, Enright is forced to step into a new life of caregiver, advocate and courageous fighter. In Butter Side Up she details the journey of over 100 days in the hospital by her husband’s side, and amazingly it’s fueled by hope and optimism. As she bravely navigates these challenges, she’s still able to engage thoughtfully with family, friends and clients. And even though the road ahead is bleak, she looks for ways to inject humor into the harsh reality she must wake up and confront each day.

Her goal with Butter Side Up is to help readers overcome fear of change and find the strength and resilience to navigate all of life’s unexpected challenges. In my opinion, this book is an honest tale of the fragility of life, the strength of sacred relationships and the never-ending courage that is fueled by hope and love. In other words, it’s incredibly uplifting. Learn more about Jane Enright and her mission to help people land butter side up in the game of life at her website.
